Meet Sulakshana Chitale
Founder, GoSwasthya
Sulakshana Chitale founded GoSwasthya with a simple belief:
Families deserve access to fresh, trustworthy and traditionally prepared food.
Born and raised in Pune in a middle-class Maharashtrian family, Sulakshana grew up with homemade food prepared using traditional methods.
After building a successful corporate career, she experienced a challenge familiar to many modern parents—finding fresh and clean kitchen staples for her young daughter.
This personal need became the foundation of GoSwasthya.
The Inspiration
As a mother, Sulakshana wanted ingredients she could trust.
However, she discovered that many staples available in the market were mass-produced, heavily processed or stored for long periods before reaching consumers.
She began exploring traditional Indian food preparation methods and realized that generations before us enjoyed freshly milled flour, traditionally churned ghee and minimally processed ingredients.
GoSwasthya was born from the desire to make these products accessible again.
Building GoSwasthya
What started as a search for better ingredients soon evolved into a mission-driven business.
Today GoSwasthya serves thousands of families across India with:
